Job Description:

Experience: 7+ years

Seeking an experienced Mainframe Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2, and VSAM. The role involves application development, enhancements, operational support, and working effectively in an onsite-offshore delivery model. Strong communication, analytical, and customer-facing skills are required.

Core Skills:

• Mainframe: COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2, VSAM
• Application Development: Mainframe application development, enhancements, maintenance, operational support
• Delivery Model: Onsite-Offshore model, customer-facing experience
• Professional Skills: Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support Mainframe applications.
• Work extensively with COBOL, JCL, REXX, DB2, and VSAM.
• Provide operational and production support for Mainframe applications.
• Analyze application issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.
• Participate in application enhancements and development activities.
• Work directly with customers and understand business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate effectively across onsite and offshore teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution.
• Communicate technical information clearly with customers and project teams.
• Follow established development, support, and delivery processes.

Preferred / Good-to-Have:

• 2–3 years of customer-facing experience.
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
